Douth Hard Sodas

The name 'Douth' is an commonly used local term for 'Down South' and references the South West region of Western Australia where Black Kite Beverages brew and bottle their drinks.

It's hard not to think of 'Down South' without picturing sunset at the beach. The label design captures this in a simple graphic way. The name is reinforced by combining the sun's reflection on the water with a down arrow and the colour scheme ensure the labels stand out on the shelf and the flavours are easy to distinguish.

We were recommended Michelle through Studio Bomba... We required some labels for our brand new alcoholic beverage range and wanted something fresh. Michelle really understood what we wanted and we were really happy with the result and still are 6 years on.

We had no hesitation using Michelle again for our next range of drinks. This time it was so easy and she really nailed the brief first go. Michelle is very friendly and professional, we would definitely recommend her.

Michelle’s professionalism and seemingly effortless creativity made the whole design experience a pleasure. Michelle is a great listener and her knowledge of design is vast and versatile.

I was very impressed by her ability to translate our initial concepts from the design brief into a simple, cohesive and powerful design that beautifully conveyed the ideas of the event’s theme.

I look forward to working with Michelle on our next design challenge.
